How To Root Motorola Moto X (2014) Smartphone
Motorola Moto X (2014) is a latest Android smartphone which comes with lots of new features. The device comes with 13 mega pixel primary Camera, 5.2 inch AMOLED capacitive Touchscreen display which is powered by 2.5 GHz Quad-core processor and it runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat Operating System.
If you have already purchased this smartphone and would like to root it for gaining root privileges, so that you can remove bloat ware or to install Custom ROM firmware’s then follow the tutorial given below. Here I have given simple procedure to root Motorola Moto X (2014) Android Phone easily.
Disclaimer: Following this rooting procedure will void your Moto X device warranty. Also, if any damage occurs to your device while following this tutorial, don’t held me responsible. Do everything at your own will.
Prerequisites:
- Ensure that you have taken a complete backup of data’s and stuff on your Moto X Smartphone by using appropriate apps.
- Make sure that the battery level of your smartphone is 70% or more to carry out the following process.
- Next, your smartphone bootloader must be unlocked. If it is not, then you need to unlock it by visiting here.
- Then, enable USB Debugging mode on your Smartphone by following this path:Settings -> Developer Options -> USB Debugging (tick on the box to enable it). You can also refer our guide to enable USB Debugging.

Tutorial To Root Motorola Moto X (2014) Android Phone:
- To get started, you need to download Moto X Pure Multi Root Tool and extract it on your Computer.
- Now, connect your device to the Computer via Original USB Cable. Once done, go to the folder where you have extracted the root files (Step 1) and double-click on the Root.bat file to launch the root program.
- Now, press 1 and then hit enter, and it will push the required SuperSU files to your smartphone.
- Once done, press 2 and then hit enter, and it will flash Clockwork mod recovery on your smartphone and reboot your device into same.
- In recovery menu, select “install zip from SD card” and select the SuperSU.zip which you have transferred to the SD Card (Step 3). Now the installation will begin and it will take some time to get completed.
- Once the process is completed, you need to select “Reboot system now” and your smartphone will reboot normally. You can disconnect your device from the computer as well.
