How To Root LG G Flex Android Smartphone

LG G Flex is a top featured Android Smartphone which comes with 6 inch Curved P-OLED capacitive touchscreen, supported by a 2.26 GHz Dual-Core processor and it runs on Android 4.2 Jelly bean Firmware. It also has a powerful Li-Po 3500 mAh non-removable battery and 13 mega Camera for HD photography.
If you own this LG G Flex Android Smartphone and would like to root it to install rooted apps or to install custom ROM’s, then follow this below tutorial. Here, I have given step by step instructions to root LG G Flex Smartphone effortlessly.

Root LG G Flex Smartphone

Prerequisites:

  1. First of all, make sure that your smartphone battery backup is above 70%. Sometimes, the rooting process might take long time to complete and if you don’t have enough battery backup then your smartphone will get switched off in the middle of the process and your device will be bricked. So, charge your smartphone battery before carrying out this tutorial.
  2. Next important thing is to take a complete backup of personal data in your smartphone by using appropriate apps.
  3. The, you have to enable USB debugging Mode in your smartphone. You can do this by visiting the Settings, then clicking on Applications and then ticking on the USB Debugging mode
  4. Ensure that LG smartphone USB drivers are installed on your computer, so that you can connect your device with it.

Tutorial To Root LG G Flex Android Smartphone:

  1. To work out this procedure, you need to download VRoot tool on your computer. When downloading is finished, you have to connect your smartphone to the Computer via Original USB cable in the USB debugging mode.
  2. Now, Open the VRoot tool and let it identify your device. If you have installed the LG USB drivers, the vRoot application will identify your device without any issues. Then, click on the “Root” button to begin the rooting process.
  3. Once rooted, your device will be automatically rebooted. The process will take around 4-5 minutes.
  4. That’s it! You have successfully rooted your LG G Flex Android Smartphone. To verify root access, you can download the Root Checker app and run it on your device.
Note: If your root checker app shows that the device has no root access, then you have to switch off your LG smartphone and then repeat the process from the start.
