How To Install Android Lollipop Keyboard On Your Device
Google has released the Android 5.0 Lollipop developer preview recently. The Android L is powered with new features and responsive UI design for your device. Among the list of features UI and Google Keyboard 4.0 comes at the top. The keyboard 4.0 supports more layouts such as QWERTZ, QUERTY, Colemak, AZERTY, PC and Dvorak, and it comes with both Dark theme and Material Light theme.
If you want to download the Google Android L Keyboard on your Android device, then you need to follow the procedure given below. The following procedure will guide to install Google Keyboard 4.0 simply and easily.
CAUTION: The following procedure only supports android device. Do not try it on other devices which are running on different operating systems.
Tutorial To Install Google Keyboard 4.0 On Your Device:
- To get started, download Google Keyboard 4.0, extract it and save it on your computer. Now connect your device to the computer in the USB Debugging mode and transfer the extracted .apk file to your device’s SD Card.
- Once done, disconnect the device from the computer and open the folder where you have saved the file. Now click on the Android Lollipop Keyboard .apk file to begin the installation process. After it gets completed, go to “Settings -> Language and Input” and then enable the Google keyboard as default.
- Now, if you wish to change the keyboard theme, then go to Keyboard settings and select one from the four available (which will have two Android L keyboard themes).
That’s it! Now you have the installed the Google Keyboard 4.0 on your device without any issues and you can enjoy the features of Android L keyboard.
